Is Crested Butte Ready for “Whatever?”

Bud Light is planning what might be one of the most interested marketing campaigns the beer world has seen to date. The beer brand, owned by Anheuser-Busch, plans to turn the small town of Crested Butte into a Bud Light-drinking community called “Whatever.” They plan to invite 1,000 alcoholics people from around the country to participate and will take place September 5-7.  Anheuser-Busch acquired the city for only $250,000 for the weekend. Many feel that this amount wasn’t enough, while other local residents are happy about the event, saying that people will “come, spend lots of money, and leave.”
