The album has already received early critical acclaim:
“Eleven tracks of edgy, soulful, thought-provoking rocking” – American Songwriter
“The band shifts away from Southern and soul-tinged sounds to dial in on what they do really well: loud, ornery, guitar-driven rock ’n’ roll.” – Nashville Scene
The Weeks is identical twins Cyle (lead vocals) and Cain Barnes (drums), Sam Williams (guitar) and Damien Bone (bass). The band grew up in Jackson, Mississippi and formed in high school nearly ten years ago. Since then, The Weeks have released several albums, but their newest Easy is a full evolution of the band’s southern rock sound. Easy tells the story of the band leaving their Mississippi roots and making a name for themselves in the Nashville music industry. Musically, it’s rowdy, southern glam rock. The band has amassed a huge following over the past 10 years, and have toured internationally with their friends in Kings of Leon, The Meat Puppets and more. The Weeks are currently on their North American headlining tour in support of Easy.
