No plans yet? Let us help!
Final Friday Food Truck Festival
8 food trucks AND the Denver Fashion Truck, beer from Our Mutual Friend Malt & Brew (with more RiNo breweries to be added), music by DJ Shawn Green, salsa dancing demonstrations by Mark Reagan Salsa, bike raffle, kids activities, and more!
Money raised will go to our programs including the Cycles for Student Success program, which awards bicycles to students at Gilpin Montessori Public School and Whittier K-8 for excellence in school attendance.
The festival takes place on Friday, 4 – 6 pm at 2830 Larimer St. More information available here.
Denver Taco Festival – June 28-29
This amazing event will be a complete take over of 2 city blocks on Larimer St. in the heart of the city. It will include Denver’s best local music, dancing, tequila and margaritas. While bringing you all this it will mainly showcase some the best independent food trucks, taco specialists and restaurants in Colorado – all in a festive atmosphere in the heart of Downtown Denver, CO.
This multi-day food, fun and music festival is a one-of-a-kind event. Far from the standard street fair we will bring a new creative twist to what a city celebration can be. The modern street taco is really the embodiment of Denver’s melting pot culture. Mexican influences such as Colorado Green Chili mixed with metropolitan ideals create the diverse flavor unique to our great city. At the same time the taco being what it is lends itself to a wide array of styles and ethnic influence. From Greek tacos to California fish tacos, you will find them all here. This is the soul of the Denver Taco Festival.
There will be numerous exciting activities, from a Chihuahua racing competition, low rider car show, green chile cook off, to a salsa war and of course – AMAZING TACOS! You’ll be able to sample huge selection of flavorful foods and desserts.
More information available at their website.
